Guangzhou China Apr. 19, 2011 - Pesticide manufactures in China have been tough in the past three years. Pesticides prices remain low, and the competition is related fiercely. Manufactures turn to expand to the overseas market. Russia, next to China, is a huge potential market. Russian agricultural foundation is weak, and pesticides are mainly still dependent on imports. Multinational corporations take up more than 70% of market share. In recent years, China has a huge capacity of pesticides production. However, few Chinese pesticides manufactures has entered into Russian market. The reason for this problem is mainly due to unfamiliar with Russian market situation and lack of a platform of communication, trade, and cooperation between Russia and China.
The insiders revealed that most of pesticides exported to Russia are OEM. Chinese pesticide enterprises make a low profit and do not have their own brands. Obtaining registration and promoting the brands are the keys to expand the market in Russia. The 2011 Pesticides Manufacture Pesticide Exhibition among Russia, China and India is held on 5th July 2011 by CCPIA and PMFAI. The exhibition will help Chinese enterprises open this huge potential market and carry out a wide range of trade and cooperation with Russian companies.
